Photographers
The
Photographer's function onboard is to provide professional souvenir
photographs for the passengers, thereby generating revenue for the
cruise line. Photographers greet and take pictures of the passengers
upon embarkation. They will participate in every shipboard activity and
will go along as tour escorts on the various shore excursions in the
hopes of selling the pictures back to the passengers. Photography
concessionaires will hire photographers that have no previous cruise
experience provided they have photography, photo processing and sales
experience. It is also very important to be professional, outgoing and
have a great sense of humor.
