Rules for Shipboard Employees

Shipboard employees are subject to military style regulations. This can include cabin inspections and searches for drugs or other illicit substances by customs and immigration officials. Disobedience of the rules and regulations is very serious and will result in a verbal or written warning. Three or more warnings usually result in dismissal. Some infractions are grounds for immediate dismissal. 

The ship's rules include: 

• No crew member is permitted to have, in his or her possession, drugs or weapons at any time. 

• Crew members are not to be involved in fighting. 

• Fire and boat drills must be attended unless exempted by a superior.
